Description
Australian Mookite is a very unique material from which to flintknap a knife. Why? Because Mookite is petrified mud from Down Under. This ancient mud flow became totally petrified with a high silica content, making it one of the most unusual flintknapping materials that exist. Finding pieces that are solid with beautiful pattern is challenging but worth it when they turn out like this. This unique knife measures 8.25″, the handle made from a gracefully curved whitetail deer antler.
