Description
This Dovetail point is knapped from a beautiful piece of patterned Novaculite from Arkansas. It measures 4.75″ and has beautiful translucency. Novaculite is one of the hardest knapping materials there is to knap, but after heat treating it at 900 degrees it becomes a delight to knap. But this isn’t anything new. Prehistoric peoples learned to heat treat their knapping materials thousands of years ago!
