Description
Knapping this cornernotched coral point was partially a result of just hunting for this extraordinary material from Indonesia. Part of the challenge is just finding some of the very small amount of this fossilized coral that’s of good knapping quality. Then finding it in a piece large enough to yield a 4.25″ finished point can be equally as tough. It’s a process finding such a piece of premium coral and then transforming it into a beautiful point. But I’ll certainly try it again when I find another exceptional piece of this coral!
